HIKE2 has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer Consultant.  We are seeking a collaborative team player to help execute on the tech stack for our Enterprise clients.  We want you to be able to solution on the fly while recognizing today’s technical and the clients limitations and provide a path to help deliver a top notch solution to the client.  

What You’ll Do:

  • Design and architect software solutions that leverage LLMs

  • Architect cloud solutions to be flexible by design and allow for rapid configuration, extension, and deprecation

  • Lead and/or mentor junior software engineers

  • Serve as a primary technical resource to guide architecture decisions across multiple program accounts

  • Champion software engineering best practices such as code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD

  • Collaborate with internal and client resources to understand the business objective and select the best technical solution

  • Stay current on emerging AI and cloud technologies

Job requirements

  • Bachelor's degree 

  • 5-7 years of experience building and deploying software solutions in cloud environments

  • Proficient in Python and at least one other language

  • Deep experience in cloud platforms and architecture, such as AWS/Azure

  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and integrating APIs

  • Experience with cloud infrastructure and resource optimization (e.g. containers, autoscaling, etc)

  • Experience delivering software across the full development lifecycle from design and development, to testing, deployment, and support.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Knowledge of AI frameworks and libraries, as well as experience across various industries, demonstrating thought leadership and revenue impact

  • Previous experience working client facing preferably within a law firm, technology company or consulting organization

The annual base salary range is $100,000-$170,000/year. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive short term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Salary is one component of the HIKE2. total compensation package, which includes the below:
