What You’ll Do

HIKE2 has an exciting opportunity for an experienced, dynamic and proactive client partner. We are seeking someone with deep state and local experience and strong connections in the community. You are well versed in RPFs, and government procurement processes and cycles. You have constant engagement with decision makers at all levels of the agencies you are targeting. You can accurately predict the competitive landscape and are comfortable liaisoning with any support you need to help shape and drive programs and solutions for our state and local clients


Your Responsibilities:

  • Ensures that strategic objectives of organization and engagements are constantly aligned, measured, and achieved.

  • Generates ongoing engagement opportunities (and closes them) through deep and wide understanding of client’s business and Roadmap.

  • Build solution timeline and team (roles, allocations, potential named resources)

  • Meet with prospective clients to identify negotiating levers

  • Respond to inbound leads and inquiries promptly, ensuring a positive and personalized experience for each prospect

  • Qualify leads through effective questioning and active listening, understanding of needs and pain points to determine the potential fit for our products/services. Work closely with Sales and Marketing Teams to identify key accounts to develop.

  • Become a subject matter expert on the Hike2 offerings, value proposition, and key differentiators.

  • Professionally represent Hike2 at industry and partner conferences.

Job requirements


  • Demonstrated experience exceeding quota expectations fo $8-10M annually.

  • 10+ years of experience in a consulting environment- working with state and local governments.

  • Bachelor’s degree in science, business, or a related field, required

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse environment
