HIKE2 has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer Consultant/Engagement Lead. We are seeking a visionary to help shape the tech stack for our Enterprise clients. We want you to be able to solution on the fly and really dig into the question; “What does the client want to do?” while recognizing today’s technical and clients limitations and provide a path to deliver a top notch solution to the client.
What You’ll Do:
Lead a team of software engineers working across multiple clients
Lead mid-size and enterprise client engagements, serving as a trusted advisor and thought leader in tech strategy with a focus on AI strategy and implementation
Implement and maintain SDLC best practices within your team
Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand business objectives and translate them into innovative AI strategies and solutions
Gather requirements, architect and implement cutting-edge AI solutions tailored to each client's unique needs, showcasing your expertise in complex AI projects
Design and optimize strategies across hybrid cloud environments, ensuring security and efficiency
Work with client development teams and partners to manage the full engagement lifecycle
Collaborate on the development of frameworks, governance models, and best practices to accelerate AI solution development and ensure successful delivery, establishing yourself as a leader in the AI consulting space
Job requirements
At least (overall) 5-10+ years of experience in architecting and delivering software solutions, with a proven track record of success in client-facing roles.
Deep experience in cloud infrastructure and SDLC
Experience in SCRUM
Ability to mentor and grow junior team members
Proficiency in various AI components and solutions, showcasing your ability to lead complex AI projects and engagements with clients
Hands-on experience in full life cycle of software development
Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, essential for helping shape and lead technical engagements
Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on emerging trends and technologies in the AI space, driving revenue through innovative solution offerings and thought leadership
Bachelor’s or master’s degree
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Advanced knowledge of AI frameworks and libraries, as well as experience across various industries, demonstrating thought leadership and revenue impact
Previous experience working within a law firm or building products related to legal
Integration of observability and monitoring tools
Previous experience deploying advanced statistical models, machine learning, and/or AI models
The annual base salary range is wide - $125,000-175,000/year. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive short term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Salary is one component of the HIKE2. total compensation package, which includes the below:
